Getting Started
What is BroTrip?
BroTrip is a free trip planning platform designed for sports fans who want to catch live games with friends. We help you find event tickets, hotels, and flights all in one place, making it easy to plan group trips without juggling multiple websites and group chats.
Is BroTrip free to use?
Yes! BroTrip is completely free. We earn money through affiliate partnerships with ticketing and travel companies. When you book through our links, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is required to search for events and plan trips. In the future, we'll offer optional accounts to save your trips and share them with your group.
Finding Events & Tickets
What sports and events can I find?
We currently support NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, MLS, college football, and college basketball. We're constantly adding more sports and events. You can select multiple sports at once to see all available games during your trip dates.
Where do the ticket listings come from?
We pull event data from trusted ticketing partners including Ticketmaster and SeatGeek. When you click "View Tickets" or "See Prices," you're taken directly to the partner's website to complete your purchase.
Why don't some events show prices?
Ticket prices depend on what our partner APIs provide. For some events, especially those far in the future, prices may not be available yet. Click "See Prices" to view current pricing on the ticketing site.
Hotels & Travel
How do hotel recommendations work?
We search for hotels near your destination city and display options sorted by distance and value. Hotel prices shown are estimates - click through to Expedia to see actual rates and availability for your dates.
Can I book flights through BroTrip?
Flight search integration is coming soon! For now, we recommend using Skyscanner or Google Flights to find the best deals. We'll be adding flight search directly to BroTrip in a future update.
Group Planning
Can I plan a trip with my friends?
Right now, you can search for trips and share the results with your group. We're building collaborative features that will let you vote on options, track who's in, and split costs. Stay tuned!
How does payment splitting work?
Payment splitting is a feature we're actively developing. The goal is to let you generate Venmo/PayPal requests automatically based on what each person owes. Coming soon!
Privacy & Support
What data do you collect?
We collect minimal data to provide our service. This includes search information and basic analytics (with your consent). We don't sell your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
